PRIVACY POLICY

Medic-jobs recognises the sensitivity and confidentiality of information provided by both Employers and Candidates and makes every effort to comply with the 1998 Data Protection Act. Users are also reminded to maintain the security of their password to prevent unauthorised access and potential abuse of the system.
Acceptance of this privacy policy is a required pre-requisite to using the system. Users are advised to check the policy periodically for changes and updates
Users are requested to keep their entries up to date (especially CVs).
Entries containing abusive, derogatory, sexist, racist or other offensive comments will be removed from the system at medic-jobs discretion without prior notice or liability.
Users can delete their data at any time by logging into the system.
JOB SEEKERS
============
Employers, Employment Businesses, Employment Agencies and head-hunters may search and retrieve your CV and profile information should you match the person and skills specification for their vacancy. This can also include your current employer if they have registered with us to find employees.
Job Seekers have the option to keep their CV confidential and prevent it being searched by recruiters.
CVs will be removed from the system after 12 months if they have not been modified/updated during that time.
Job seekers are requested to obtain written authorisation from appointed referees before including their details in the searchable database.
Job Seekers must be over 16 years of age
USE OF INFORMATION

Medic-jobs may collect general demographic and aggregated information to identify trends and patterns of employment. This information will not identify individuals and may be shared with medic-jobs clients, partners and other third parties regarding the operation of the site.
Email addresses supplied at registration may be used to send updates and other information of interest.
Information may be disclosed to Law Enforcement Agencies / Regulatory Bodies if medic-jobs is legally requested to do so.
Medic-jobs will use the data submitted to the website to manage registrations, address queries and improve the site to ensure it’s evolving development.
COOKIES

The medic-job website uses cookies to enable convenient access to the site and restrict access to authorised users. They do not contain any information which can identify users individually.

The site is protected against unauthorised access. However, medic-jobs cannot guarantee that third parties will never overcome the security measures and gain unauthorised access and use users’ personal information for improper purposes.
Medic-jobs makes every effort to restrict access to searchable CVs, however, we cannot guarantee that other parties will not gain access to this database. Medic-jobs will not be accountable or responsible for this and any subsequent actions.
Authorised users may download, retain and make use of CVs from the searchable database. Medic-jobs is not responsible for the retention, use or privacy of CVs or profiles in such situations.
